Cyanotype Collages and Marbleized Paper

Rembrandt van Rijn
Self Portrait

"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken."
Oscar Wilde

A recap:
Thursday's lecture involved the work of Rembrandt van Rijn. The printmaking classes are finishing screen prints. The photo classes printed cyanotypes from original collages (click here for a previous post that explains the chemistry of the cyanotype process). The sculpture class is making books.

Here are a few cyanotype prints:

Seventh Period is working on handmade books.
Monday we marbleized paper for the end sheets.

One more thing...
Last year we introduced the official Trinity Art T-shirt.
This week we've pulled the screen from the vault and,
once again, are making the following offer:

Bring in a t-shirt, hoodie, or other article of clothing
and Mr. Carter will print the Trinity Art Logo on it for you-

NO CHARGE!
